Twin Fan Unit Introduction
ProvenAir Sales Ltd. offer a comprehensive range of units, tailored to suit the individual requirements of each project. These units are of single skin galvanised mild steel construction, galvanised finish and suitable for indoor mounting. Each unit contains two fans arranged for run and standby operation. We utilise fans of the forward curved centrifugal type in direct drive or belt driven options depending on the duty requirement |

DIRECT DRIVEN
The direct driven units contain 2 fans suitable for single phase electrical supply. The motor / impeller assembly is resiliently mounted to the scroll casing. The fans are fixed to a common outlet plenum which utilises our own unique swing blade back-draught shutter arrangement. Fan are pre-wired to a terminal box, fitted on the outside of the unit casing.
Access into the casing will be achieved by simply un-screwing the top panel. These units can however be installed upside down, allowing access via the underside.
Inlet and discharge spigots are left plain allowing the customer scope to determine the type of connection to be adopted.

BELT DRIVEN
The belt driven units contain two fans, The motors will be suitable for three phase electrical supply. The fan / motor assembly is mounted on a fully floating frame with canvas flexible connections to the unit casing. Each fan discharges through a back-draught shutter and is fitted with an air flow switch, enabling detection of belt failure. Two terminal boxes will be fitted to the outside of each unit, pre-wired to the motor and airflow switch for each fan.
An access door held securely by flush fit quick release catches will be provided on both sides of the unit, allowing servicing of the pulley drive arrangement. In accordance with current CEI regulations, protective guard covers are fitted to each drive arrangement.
The inlet and discharge spigots will be provided with 20mm doby flanges for rectangular ductwork connection. |
